Closed- Sweets on Nosh, Bangsar

Bonjour!

So I am gonna face my finals very soon! Super scary right now but I'll try my best to get the results I want!
A few days back, my friends J & H, Nic and I wanted to go for some crepe in Bangsar.. But it was closed when we went there
(Note to self; to check their opening days)

Instead we went to Nosh to try dessert and we saw this beautifully looking selections on offer.. So we decided to try it all

There are 6 on offer and you can choose to have either a selection of 2 or 3 for the price of RM24++ or RM34++
Bare in mind that some of the dessert contains alcohol

Chocolat Orange
We had these lovely desserts with a pot of earl grey and english breakfast tea..

The 1st dessert that arrives to our table is the Chocolat Orange.. It looks beautiful to eat! The cake is filled with Grand Marnier chocolate mousse. It is also glazed with a shiny chocolate ganache.. The plate was drizzled with a citrus orange reduction which brings compliments to the dessert and chocolate cake for every bite we had.. It was simple delightful!

Really A must try for those chocolate lovers!

Next, came the 2nd & 3rd part of the dessert..

The one on the left is the Sweet Potato Azuki Gateaux.. When it came to us, it looks rather interesting as it consist of 2 layers of cake with some cream and jam on top.. As we were rather curious and puzzled on the appearance and how it would taste like, so we brave ourselves on trying out the cake..
Sweet Potato Azuki Gateaux
Surprisingly, the cake tasted light with a hint of green tea.. The yellow cream is actually made from sweet potato and the jam was azuki beans which is like red beans.. So unique and it really compliment each other well..

Earl Grey Creme Brulee
Now on the right side of the plate is the Earl Grey Creme Brulee.. It was the smallest dessert of all compared to the 6 of them.. The earl grey tea flavour was just a nice combination with the cream and luckily it wasn't overpowering and not bitter..
Coconut Hong Tao Tang
While we were focusing on eating and enjoying the taste and made those noises of deliciousness, there comes the only dessert served in a glass martini which was the Coconut Hong Tao Tang.. The name of the dessert sounded like a vietnamese or thailand kind of thing..

The dessert elements all consist of the red bean or the Hong tao, coconut ice cream, pandan infused palm sugar..

Well the combination of the coconut ice cream with the Hong tao do certainly tango well together in our mouth especially.. When we were eating this dessert, my friend, H really enjoyed it and made that yummy sound which is the proof how good it is..

This dessert is really refreshing on a hot day and it is cooling with the coconut ice cream and light..

Black forest Pavlova & Salted Caramel Apple Gateaux

Finally came the last 2 desserts, Black forest Pavlova & Salted Caramel Apple Gateaux..

The black forest pavlova really looks pretty and delicious with its top being decorated with luscious strawberries and also dark cherries which are soaked in kirsch..Underneath the berries are chocolate meringue which is filled with a rich and velvety chocolate mousse.. This dessert has alcohol in it but it still taste good with its raspberry coulis droplets..
This whole dessert is a spin off from the classic black forest cake.. Really creative!

Next is the Salted caramel apple gateaux.. The cake is really moist with cubes of apple & currants.. It was baked nicely that gives it a spongy texture.. It was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.. Delicious dessert and it wasn't overly sweet! Good choice for those who love apple cakes or salted caramel..

Verdict:    Everything here is really good! Really enjoyed the Coconut Hong Tao Tango
Desserts here are really unique and creative yet delicious! Better hurry before it overs
              Great for sharing

Would definitely come back here for more of their creative desserts!
