Kate's Berry Farm @ Swansea, Tasmania

Away from the city of Hobart, we moved on to the next other town in Tasmania..
This little island is really an ideal place for a drive as their landscape is so  picturesque and beautiful!

After few hours drive from Hobart, we've reached to the Kate's Berry Farm in Swansea..

What a beautiful view from the farm.. Can't get a view like this anywhere else

This is their berries farm but its quite bare as not many berries can be seen and some of the strawberries is being hidden

That whole stretch of building is their cafe and shop..

In their cafe, you can have either sweet or savoury food and some are labelled as gluten free food.. There indoor and outdoor seatings..
I can't take photographs of their shops but they make alot of their own jams with different berry combination and some with alcoholic contents and they sell chocolates and wines

So there's several types of offerings on ice cream and sorbets..
Well we finally decide on having their strawberry sorbets which is really sour, refreshing and light!

For their savoury option, we had their salmon crepe and scones with jam and whipped cream

The crepe is done nicely and with the smoked salmon and sour cream is really delicious.. Just that portion quite small

Next is the scones with their home made jam and whipped cream..
The scones are freshly baked and really light and fluffy.. Jam is really good and not overly sweet

Cappuccino Mug
Overall, the food is nice with the amazing view of the mountains..
Didn't spot anyone doing berry picking which is kinda sad as such experience is hard to find in malaysia

Verdict: The farm is just ordinary but not much of berries insight..
Jam is nicely made and the food is delicious..
